As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator within the Receiving department, you will play a key role in ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently, supporting smooth warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of product quality.
Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for accurately and promptly carrying out tasks such as receiving, picking, pulling, labeling, and stocking purchase orders within set deadlines. You will operate powered equipment and assist with various warehouse activities to help meet operational objectives.
Use powered machinery (like forklifts) to unload deliveries and arrange inventory
Receive purchase orders, check for damages, and verify items against invoices or packing lists
Pick products from warehouse shelves based on specifications including quantity, size, and color
Pack and prepare completed orders for shipment
Confirm the accuracy of picked items before staging for delivery
Consistently meet or exceed performance goals by efficiently completing tasks
Support other warehouse operations such as picking, labeling, shipping, and delivery assistance as needed
Required Skills and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification
1-2 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center roles
Physical ability to work continuously, lift up to 40 pounds, and safely operate powered equipment
Strong dedication to safety practices and proper use of personal protective equipment
Capability to work effectively in various conditions, including noisy or extreme temperature environments
A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently or within a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or yard trucks
Proven attention to detail in fast-paced settings
Ability to apply spatial reasoning skills to optimize product placement
