- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising on paint products.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable paint solutions.
- Educate customers on various paint types, primers, finishes, and color options.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of paint tools, trends, and techniques.
- Promote current sales and encourage product add-ons such as brushes and rollers.
- Stock, organize, and maintain paint inventory per company standards.
- Mix paint accurately using machines to create custom colors.
- Ensure a clean, safe work area by following safety protocols.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a paint or home improvement environment.
- Familiarity with paint products, tools, and application techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for pricing and sales transactions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the department for extended periods.
