Role and Responsibilities:

As a Store Manager at Lowe’s, you will lead all aspects of store operations, driving sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment, fostering a culture of engagement, and implementing business strategies in partnership with district and corporate leaders. Your leadership will ensure professional and timely service from all associates, and strategic decision-making to support profitability and community involvement.

• Ensure associates deliver friendly, professional, and timely service to customers.
• Monitor store performance, profitability, and execution of programs and plans.
• Lead the implementation of asset protection plans that improve safety and security.
• Oversee expenses, merchandising standards, compliance, safety, and workforce management.
• Build and support a culture aligned with Lowe’s mission and values.
• Recruit, develop, and manage store talent in alignment with current and future needs.
• Drive execution of sales and service strategies by analyzing relevant data.
• Champion customer experience initiatives and represent Lowe’s in the local community.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years leading associates in a high-volume retail environment (sales > $20M annually).
• 5+ years in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships in a matrixed organization.
• Experience using customer, market, and competitor data for business planning.
• Demonstrated success implementing change initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain required sales licensure, if applicable, within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in a leadership role within big-box home improvement retail.
• Demonstrated community partnership experience.
• Leadership experience across multiple store volumes or complexity levels.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting rate of pay may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors.

• Schedule: Generally scheduled for 48 hours/week with availability required any day/time.
