Customer Service Representative

Planet Fitness is hiring for Customer Service Representative

Responsible for new member sales and creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and meet potential members, providing a great customer experience.

Handle front desk related tasks:

• Answer phone calls politely and helpfully to address questions or concerns.

• Take info calls and conduct gym tours.

• Assist with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, BCM amenity usage, and update member account information.

• Facilitate member service issues and questions; escalate to Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead as needed.

• Help maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.

Essential Behavior Requirements

• Customer Service: Communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds expectations.

• Listening: Actively listen and empathize to understand and resolve customer concerns collaboratively.

• Problem Solving: Identify and define problems, analyze information, encourage alternative solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.

• Diplomacy: Use tact and professionalism in all interactions.

• Communication: Maintain timely and effective communication with supervisors regarding questions or issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and strong work ethic.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking for at least 75% of the shift.

• Talking in person or on the phone for at least 75% of the shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
