Role and Responsibilities:

As a Sales Associate, Inside Lawn & Garden at Lowe’s, you will assist customers with their lawn and garden needs by providing expert advice and recommendations on plants, gardening tools, fertilizers, and outdoor décor. This role is focused on providing superior customer service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that the department is well-organized and visually appealing. You will work closely with customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions, enhancing their shopping experience.

• Assist customers with products such as plants, seeds, fertilizers, soil, mulch, outdoor furniture, and tools.
• Provide detailed product knowledge and guide customers in choosing the right lawn and garden items.
• Maintain the appearance of the Lawn & Garden section, keeping it clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Stock and restock merchandise while managing proper inventory levels.
• Set up and maintain displays and signage according to company guidelines.
• Answer questions on plant care, landscaping, and other gardening topics.
• Support customers in locating products and provide information on promotions and sales.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash register.
• Assist in unloading, stocking, and organizing shipment deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following safety protocols.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move products.
• Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of plants, gardening, and outdoor living products.
• Experience in the Lawn & Garden department or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic sales processes and store operations.
