Role and Responsibilities

As a Receiving Associate, you play a crucial role in maintaining smooth store operations by efficiently receiving, organizing, and stocking products. Your commitment to safety and precision ensures the store remains organized and customer-friendly.

• Receive, sort, and replenish inventory accurately and efficiently

• Follow established safety procedures for lifting and handling stock

• Keep store aisles clean, safe, and accessible for customers

• Communicate professionally with teammates, vendors, and customers

• Promptly report any safety or security concerns

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

• Perform additional tasks as needed to support store operations

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic skills in reading, writing, and math (including addition and subtraction)

• Effective verbal communication and active listening skills

• Comfortable using smartphones and retail technology

• Ability to stand, walk, or remain stationary for extended periods

• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance; help available for heavier loads

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with forklifts or powered equipment

• Previous work in warehouse, stocking, or inventory management

Travel Requirements

This role generally does not require routine travel, but occasional travel for training or store support may be necessary.

Working Conditions

Work may take place indoors and outdoors, sometimes in noisy settings with machinery. Lifting limits are set at 75 pounds per person, with team lifts encouraged for heavier items. Training is required to operate powered equipment safely.
