Role and Responsibilities:

The Sales Specialist, ProServices is a key member of the Lowe's team responsible for driving sales and service to professional customers within the ProServices department. This individual supports the professional customer segment by delivering an exceptional customer experience, offering tailored product knowledge, and assisting with purchasing decisions to build and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Build relationships with professional customers by understanding their business needs and providing personalized product recommendations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all ProServices-related inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Offer expert advice and problem-solving solutions to contractors, builders, and other business professionals.
• Drive ProServices sales by identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products that match customer needs.
• Support customers in completing purchases, providing in-depth product knowledge and guidance.
• Process orders for professional customers, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Lowe’s ProServices product offerings, including tools, building materials, and supplies.
• Stay up-to-date with new products, services, and trends in the construction and building industries.
• Collaborate with store leadership, inventory teams, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Advocate for professional customers to ensure needs are met and issues are quickly resolved.
• Foster customer loyalty through exceptional service, follow-ups, and issue resolution.
• Use internal systems to track customer purchases and identify opportunities for repeat business or promotions.
• Monitor sales performance and meet sales targets or KPIs specific to ProServices.
• Record customer interactions, sales activities, and order statuses in Lowe’s internal systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in home improvement or construction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with professional customers.
• Effective problem-solving abilities and quick thinking to deliver practical solutions.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems or sales software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of building materials, construction tools, or home improvement products is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
