Responsibilities of the Front Desk Attendant include establishing a pleasant environment for members and visitors at Planet Fitness, as well as catering to their needs effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional customer care to all attendees, including current members, potential members, and guests.

Handle all front desk related activities including:

• Handle phone inquiries cordially and support individuals with diverse questions.
• Log in new members into the database.
• New member sign-up.
• Lead tours for individuals interested in joining.
• Support in implementing essential changes to member profiles.

• Handle member queries and feedback in a timely and courteous manner, involving higher-level staff as required.
• Assist in preserving the cleanliness and organization of the club's premises.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Preferential consideration given to candidates with a customer service background.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A dedication to staying fit and maintaining good health.
• A cheerful and buoyant outlook.
• It is crucial to uphold punctuality and reliability.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers, exceeding member expectations.
• Skilled in active listening and demonstrating empathy to effectively address and solve problems.
• Show diplomacy in all dealings, utilizing proper etiquette and language for effective communication.
• A high school diploma or a comparable GED certification is necessary for this position.
• The minimum age requirement for this activity is 18 years.

Physical Demands

• Persistent standing and walking required while on duty.
• Non-stop chatting either in person or via telephone throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting weights of up to 50 lbs periodically as needed.
• There is a possibility of coming into contact with harmful chemicals during work hours.
