Planet Fitness is hiring for Fitness Program Coordinator

It is the duty of the Fitness Program Coordinator to oversee the execution of the PE@PF group fitness regimen at Planet Fitness, supporting newcomers in attaining their fitness targets through customized workout plans and instructions on equipment operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take charge of coordinating and supervising the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, ensuring the schedule is established and adhered to accordingly.
• Engage with members to understand their fitness targets and demonstrate how to effectively and safely utilize equipment.
• Generate bi-weekly reports on exercise routines and improvements.
• Comply with the club's specifications based on the number of members and level of traffic.

Assist with front desk activities, including:

• Handling phone inquiries in a courteous way and providing support to callers.
• Recording the entrance of members into the database.
• New member sign-up.
• Showing around potential new members.
• Dealing with member queries and issues in a timely and professional manner, raising them to the Assistant Manager or Manager as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Dedication to staying fit and healthy.
• Approaching situations with a hopeful and enthusiastic mindset.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service expertise; proficient in maintaining positive and professional interactions with clients and staff members.
• Skilled in attentive listening and showing compassion to address and troubleshoot problems.
• Displays diplomacy in every interaction through the use of appropriate language and behavior.
• The incumbent must hold an up-to-date CPR Certification to fulfill the requirements.
• Possession of a National Certification Training Certificate is compulsory.
• Successful completion of high school or attainment of a GED is necessary.
• Participants are required to be of legal age, which is 18 years or older.

Physical Demands:

• Constantly being on one's feet and moving around while on duty.
• Talking persistently in real life or via phone throughout the shift.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently.
• Possible exposure to hazardous substances while on duty.
