Role and Responsibilities:

As a Sales Associate, Hardware at Lowe’s, you will support customers with their hardware needs by providing product knowledge, expert recommendations, and top-tier service.

• Assist customers in selecting hardware products such as hand tools, power tools, fasteners, and related items.
• Provide detailed product knowledge and make recommendations based on customer needs.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and offer effective hardware-related solutions.
• Restock and maintain hardware inventory, ensuring shelves are organized and fully stocked.
• Maintain neat and visually appealing product displays in the hardware department.
• Process sales transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate current promotions and sales events to customers.
• Receive and stock shipments of hardware products.
• Keep hardware aisles and nearby areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and support store success.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and move products and materials.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multitasking ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of hardware tools, products, and equipment.
• Experience in a hardware or home improvement retail setting.
• Familiarity with store operations and basic sales procedures.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
