Role and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Associate, Hardware at Lowe’s, you will support customers with their hardware needs by providing product knowledge, expert recommendations, and top-tier service.
- Assist customers in selecting hardware products such as hand tools, power tools, fasteners, and related items.
- Provide detailed product knowledge and make recommendations based on customer needs.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and offer effective hardware-related solutions.
- Restock and maintain hardware inventory, ensuring shelves are organized and fully stocked.
- Maintain neat and visually appealing product displays in the hardware department.
- Process sales transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate current promotions and sales events to customers.
- Receive and stock shipments of hardware products.
- Keep hardware aisles and nearby areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and support store success.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and move products and materials.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with multitasking ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of hardware tools, products, and equipment.
- Experience in a hardware or home improvement retail setting.
- Familiarity with store operations and basic sales procedures.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
