Role and Responsibilities:

As a Loader/Cart Associate at Lowe's, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, clean, and safe store environment. Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer service by supporting customers with their purchases and maintaining the organization of carts and store areas.

• Cart Collection & Maintenance: Collect carts from the parking lot and throughout the store, returning them to designated areas and ensuring accessibility for customers.
• Merchandise Loading: Assist customers in safely loading merchandise into their vehicles, particularly with large or heavy items.
• Customer Service: Greet and engage with customers in a professional, friendly manner, answering questions and providing assistance in locating products.
• Store Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly store by organizing carts and clearing debris.
• Replenishing Stock: Support inventory management by helping to restock merchandise as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6 months of experience in customer service or retail operations.
• Ability to use store technology, such as point-of-sale systems or handheld mobile devices.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience in a similar role in a retail or warehouse setting.
• Experience working with shopping carts, handling merchandise, or providing face-to-face customer service.
• Background in material handling or physical labor roles.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position may be part-time (up to 25 hours/week) or full-time (generally scheduled 39 to 40 hours/week), based on store needs. Must be available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Benefits for eligible associates include:
