What You Will Do:

As a Sales Specialist for Cabinets, you will help customers select cabinetry solutions that meet their home improvement and remodeling needs. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing expert product knowledge and personalized recommendations about cabinets, including styles, materials, features, pricing, and promotions.
• Delivering SMART customer service by engaging customers, understanding their project requirements, and offering tailored cabinetry solutions.
• Assisting customers throughout the sales process, from product selection and order placement to scheduling delivery and installation.
• Managing customer inquiries, tracking orders, and coordinating with vendors and installers to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
• Supporting inventory management and merchandising activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor.
• Training and coaching team members in product knowledge and sales techniques within the cabinets department.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales goals consistently.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licenses or registrations as required by law.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience selling cabinetry or related home improvement products.
• Familiarity with promoting value-added services like delivery, installation, and protection plans.
• Knowledge of Lowe’s sales and order management systems.
• Experience mentoring or training sales associates.
• Bilingual skills are advantageous.

Working Conditions:

• Work involves prolonged standing and moving around the store.
• Possible exposure to various environmental conditions depending on store layout.
• Must follow safety protocols for lifting and handling merchandise.
