Role and Responsibilities:
As a Merchandising Services Associate at Lowe’s, you serve as a critical connection between Merchandising and Store Operations, helping deliver a top-tier shopping experience. Your key responsibilities include:
- Completing merchandising resets and service projects according to Lowe’s specifications and providing proof of task completion.
- Verifying and prepping buyback items for shipping.
- Updating and validating signage and digital wayfinding systems throughout the store.
- Ensuring pricing information is visible and accurate.
- Staging clearance items and maintaining proper product placement and displays.
- Repairing or replacing damaged signage, merchandise, and displays.
- Communicating project status and scheduling with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyzing execution metrics and reporting feedback to store, market, and corporate leaders.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Travel:
- This role generally follows a set weekday schedule to keep your weekends free* (Live Nursery MST Associates may require weekend shifts).
- Work environments may be indoor or outdoor, with exposure to weather conditions such as extreme heat, cold, humidity, and noise.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or supporting other stores.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
- Clear hearing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with web-based computer programs to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds unassisted, or over 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on Lowe’s sales floor.
- Experience in product merchandising, including reading planograms and setting up or taking down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools (e.g., drills, saws).
