Role and Responsibilities
As a Retail Merchandising Associate, you act as a vital link between the Merchandising and Store Operations teams to help enhance the in-store customer experience. Your key duties include:
Executing merchandise resets and service tasks per Lowe’s guidelines and confirming completion.
Processing and preparing returned merchandise for shipment.
Updating store signage and maintaining the accuracy of digital navigation tools.
Making sure pricing is displayed clearly and correctly.
Arranging clearance items and maintaining product displays.
Replacing damaged signage, fixtures, and merchandise as needed.
Coordinating with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager on scheduling and project updates.
Reviewing performance data and sharing insights with store, market, and corporate leaders.
Performing other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Work Environment & Travel
This position typically follows a weekday schedule, helping to keep your weekends open (*Note: Live Nursery MST Associates may need to work weekends).
Work may occur indoors or outdoors and could involve exposure to weather conditions such as extreme temperatures, humidity, and noise.
Occasional travel may be necessary for training, meetings, or assisting other store locations.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic literacy and math skills (addition and subtraction).
Effective verbal and auditory communication.
Ability to use web-based tools for task management.
Capability to sit or stand for long durations.
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance or more with or without accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working on Lowe’s sales floor.
Background in merchandising, including interpreting planograms and setting up displays.
Familiarity with power equipment such as lifts or order pickers.
Knowledge of using common hand tools like drills or saws.
