Role and Responsibilities:

As a Fulfillment Team Lead at Lowe’s, you will supervise and support a team of associates responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will lead by example, ensure operational excellence, drive team productivity, and deliver exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering SMART customer service and resolving escalated customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Supervising order picking, staging, and loading activities to ensure accuracy, safety, and timely completion.
• Collaborating with the Pro team to meet fulfillment standards and timelines.
• Allocating work based on order volume and customer demand while coaching team members for performance and growth.
• Conducting interviews and supporting hiring decisions for fulfillment associates.
• Training associates on safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Conducting area checks to maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Using power equipment to pull, move, and load merchandise when needed.
• Monitoring team metrics (e.g., order accuracy, staging time, safety) and implementing improvements.
• Handling administrative duties such as audits, order tracking, and customer communication regarding order status.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of retail or warehouse experience with at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fulfillment, logistics, or operations within retail or warehouse environments.
• Certification or experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Familiarity with Lowe’s systems and fulfillment procedures.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and implement operational improvements.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy merchandise throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a retail environment with direct customer and team interaction. Fulfillment Team Leads work on the sales floor and in staging areas, regularly moving and handling merchandise and powered equipment.
