Role and Responsibilities:

Receiver/Stocker associates play a vital role in keeping Lowe’s stores running smoothly by ensuring merchandise is accurately received, stocked, and replenished to provide customers with access to the products they need. This role requires strong organization, attention to safety, and physical activity, including proper lifting and stock placement.

• Receive, stock, and replenish merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Follow safe lifting and stocking practices to maintain a safe environment.
• Keep aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards to improve the customer experience.
• Engage positively with customers, vendors, and associates.
• Promptly report any safety or security concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction).
• Effective verbal communication and clear listening abilities.
• Familiarity with smartphones and retail technology tools.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted; able to lift over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Previous inventory handling or stocking experience in a warehouse setting.

Travel Requirements:

This role typically does not require regular travel, though occasional travel for training or store support may be necessary.

Working Conditions:

Work may occur indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather, noise, and moving equipment. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 lbs, with team lifts used as needed. Powered equipment use requires proper training.
