Role and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Associate in ProServices at Lowe's, you will serve as the main point of contact for professional customers, including contractors, business owners, and other industry professionals. Your role is to provide outstanding service by understanding and addressing the unique needs of Pro customers, offering tailored solutions and expert advice on products, tools, and services.

- Customer Engagement:
- Provide exceptional customer service to Pro customers by building strong relationships and offering tailored solutions for their business and project needs.
- Engage with contractors, builders, and professional customers to understand their specific needs and ensure they receive the best products and services.
- Sales and Product Knowledge:
- Recommend and upsell products and services to Pro customers, such as bulk purchasing, delivery options, and project management solutions.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Lowe’s products and services, including Pro-specific offerings like bulk discounts, special ordering, and custom delivery solutions.
- Order Processing and Coordination:
- Assist Pro customers in placing special orders and managing large-scale purchases.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders for Pro customers.
- Ensure that Pro customers have access to necessary tools, supplies, and materials in a timely manner to meet their project deadlines.
- Inventory Management and Stocking:
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to meet customer demand.
- Ensure product displays are organized and accessible to professional customers, optimizing the shopping experience.
- Pro Services Support:
- Support the ProServices team by assisting in the coordination of deliveries, special requests, and job-site consultations.
- Follow up on customer orders and service inquiries to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other associates to ensure Pro customers receive prompt, courteous service and accurate product information.
- Share feedback and insights to improve ProServices offerings and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or the construction/home improvement industry is preferred.
- Experience working with professional customers, contractors, or in B2B sales is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with professional customers.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for processing orders and handling transactions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
Technology:
- Comfortable using computer systems to process orders, track inventory, and check product availability.
