Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently completing tasks such as receiving, picking, pulling, labeling, and stocking purchase orders within established timelines. You will operate powered equipment and support various warehouse functions to help achieve operational goals.
Operate powered equipment (such as forklifts) to unload deliveries and organize inventory
Receive purchase orders, inspect for damage, and verify items against invoices or packing slips
Pick products from warehouse shelves based on specifications including quantity, size, and color
Pack and stage completed orders for shipment
Verify the accuracy of picked items before preparing them for delivery
Consistently meet or exceed performance standards by completing tasks efficiently
Support other warehouse activities including picking, labeling, shipping, and assisting with deliveries as required
Required Skills and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification
1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
Physical capability to work continuously, lift up to 40 pounds, and safely operate powered equipment
Strong dedication to following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment correctly
Ability to work effectively in various environments, including noisy or extreme temperature conditions
A strong safety focus with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with forklifts, reach trucks, or yard trucks
Demonstrated attention to detail in fast-paced work settings
Ability to use spatial awareness to efficiently organize products
