Job Summary

As a Gym Floor Customer Service Representative, you are the face of Planet Fitness on the gym floor. Your role is to ensure that our members feel supported, safe, and encouraged during their visit. You'll actively engage with members, provide assistance with equipment, uphold club cleanliness standards, and help create an overall positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Walk the gym floor regularly to assist members and ensure safety protocols are followed

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to members and guests

• Help educate members on the safe and proper use of equipment

• Monitor and uphold club cleanliness, including wiping down machines and tidying areas

• Report equipment issues or facility maintenance needs to management promptly

• Support front desk operations during busy times as needed

• Reinforce Planet Fitness policies and promote a respectful workout environment

• Maintain knowledge of club promotions and services to inform members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Prior experience in customer service or fitness environments is a plus

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A friendly, proactive, and approachable attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to be on your feet and move throughout the gym for the duration of your shift

• Must be 18 years or older

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the club for extended periods

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

• Exposure to cleaning products during shift
