About the Role:

We are currently looking for a Fitness Facility Supervisor to become a part of our team! The role of the General Manager entails the supervision of all gym activities and the guarantee of outstanding member satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Efficiently guide, oversee, interact, enhance, and educate the team comprising Assistant General Managers, Front Desk Associates, Overnight Front Desk Associates, Cleaners, and Trainers
• Ensure that all concerns related to club matters concerning both staff and members are handled in a prompt and respectful manner, with appropriate action plans for resolution
• Establish and uphold a welcoming environment where individuals are free from criticism and negative evaluation
• Advocate for the Planet Fitness brand in nearby neighborhoods and towns to increase visibility and appeal
• Guarantee that all deposits are made promptly and correctly every day
• Supervise adherence to established guidelines and protocols
• Monitor the efficiency and competence of employees
• Oversee inventory to guarantee timely ordering and accessibility of supplies
• Establish and uphold employee timetables while overseeing financial allocation for wages
• Conduct self-inspections
• Fulfill obligatory PF/PFU classes and ongoing professional development sessions
• Cultivate robust communication and productive interactions among team members
• Offering guidance and encouragement to enhance and uphold employee productivity
• Remain up-to-date and comply with the guidelines and regulations set by the organization

Qualifications:

• Skill in handling numerous tasks concurrently
• Having a solid work ethic entails being dedicated and committed to completing tasks efficiently
• Independent individual capable of working with little direction required
• Fundamental skills in computing, mathematics, and effective communication
• Excellent supervisory skills
• CPR/AED certification is available, with the option to receive training if required
• Individuals must have reached the age of 18 to be eligible
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Driven, passionate, and dynamic
• Capability to visit different clubs as needed
• Outstanding customer service abilities
• Trustworthy, on time, and dependable
• Proficient abilities in attentive listening and demonstrating empathy
• Showcase tactfulness during engagements with others
• Desired: A minimum of two years overseeing or managing operations in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

• Remaining upright and moving consistently while on duty
• Engaging in constant conversations face-to-face or over the phone throughout work hours
• Capable of carrying weights up to 60 pounds

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 annually
