Role and Responsibilities
As a Store Operations Assistant, you'll serve as a key connection between the Merchandising and Store Operations teams, working to ensure a smooth and engaging customer shopping experience. Your main responsibilities include:
Completing merchandising resets and service activities in alignment with Lowe’s standards and verifying successful completion.
Organizing and preparing returned products for shipment.
Updating in-store signage and ensuring digital navigation tools are current and accurate.
Making sure all pricing labels are correctly displayed and easily visible.
Positioning clearance items and sustaining orderly, attractive product presentations.
Fixing or swapping out damaged displays, signs, or merchandise.
Coordinating timelines and progress with the Merchandising Services Team and your Manager.
Analyzing execution data and sharing insights with store, regional, and corporate teams.
Carrying out additional duties as needed.
Work Environment & Travel
This role typically follows a consistent weekday schedule, allowing for mostly free weekends (*Note: Nursery MST Associates may have different scheduling needs).
Work settings can be both indoors and outdoors, occasionally exposing you to elements like high heat, cold, moisture, and noise.
Some travel may be required for training sessions, meetings, or support at other store locations.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations (e.g., addition and subtraction).
Strong verbal communication and hearing skills.
Comfortable using web-based tools and platforms for assigned work.
Physically able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Able to lift at least 25 pounds independently, with or without accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on the Lowe’s sales floor.
Knowledge of merchandising practices, including following planograms and assembling/disassembling displays.
Proficiency in operating equipment like lifts or order pickers.
Familiarity with basic tools such as drills, saws, and other hand tools.
