Role and Responsibilities
As a Retail Stocking Clerk, your primary responsibilities involve maintaining product availability and ensuring shelves and displays are organized and fully stocked. Your work is essential to maintaining store efficiency and a positive shopping environment.
Restock shelves and product displays as needed
Perform regular inventory checks and update stock records
Organize and label merchandise according to store guidelines
Unpack, sort, and organize incoming inventory
Keep backroom and sales areas tidy and efficient
Collaborate with coworkers to achieve stocking and inventory targets
Help with fulfilling and preparing customer orders placed online
Required Skills and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Capable of safely lifting and handling heavy merchandise
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Able to work effectively in a high-paced environment
Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory tools is a plus
Good organizational and time-management abilities
