Role and Responsibilities
As a Payment Processor at Lowe’s, you'll serve as the friendly final point of contact for customers, delivering an efficient and positive checkout experience. While the register is your primary station, you may also assist in other areas to ensure seamless store operations.
Provide quick, accurate, and friendly service at checkout
Support customers using self-service checkout stations
Scan and bag merchandise with attention to detail
Process payments, returns, and exchanges at the point of sale
Respond to customer inquiries and offer assistance
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Complete additional duties as needed, directed by store supervisors
Required Skills and Experience
Ability to perform basic math functions, read, and write clearly
Capability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
Comfortable navigating computer systems for basic tasks
Able to lift at least 10 lbs independently, or 15+ lbs with or without assistance
Willingness to secure any state-mandated licenses or certifications relevant to the role
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a retail or customer-facing position
Proficiency in more than one language
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is determined by various factors, including the role, geographic location, experience level, and educational background. Most positions offer a standard 40-hour work week.
