Planet Fitness is hiring for Facility Custodian

The Facility Custodian's primary duty is to uphold the cleanliness standards of the facility and create a safe, hygienic, and welcoming atmosphere for Planet Fitness patrons and visitors throughout the night shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the restrooms, locker rooms, gym floor, and fitness equipment are meticulously cleaned and disinfected.
• Replenish locker room essentials such as paper products and soap.
• Notify the Club Manager promptly about any damaged or absent facilities or equipment such as restrooms, showers, or exercise machines.
• Adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Lost and Found Policy by surrendering any discovered items to either the Club Manager or the Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Having prior experience in custodial or janitorial roles is advantageous.
• Dependability, timeliness, and readiness to work overnight are essential qualities for this position.
• Demonstrating a diligent attitude paired with principles of truthfulness and uprightness.
• Demonstrating self-sufficiency and the capacity to address issues without assistance.
• Demonstrating a high level of professionalism along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Individuals must be at least 18 years old to be eligible.
• A High School diploma or its equivalent in the form of a GED is a prerequisite.

Physical Demands

• Walking and standing throughout the entire shift is a requirement.
• Regularly extending hands, fingers, and arms.
• Sometimes engaging in climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching activities.
• Capable of lifting weights exceeding 80 pounds intermittently.
• Contact with cleaning agents and materials.
