Role and Responsibilities
As a Inventory Support Team Member at Lowe’s, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. Your duties will include collecting shopping carts, assisting customers with loading heavy items into their vehicles, and ensuring the store’s interior and exterior areas are tidy and safe.
Cart Collection and Organization: Gather carts from parking lots and store areas, returning them to their designated spots to keep them accessible for customers.
Merchandise Loading: Assist customers by safely loading bulky or heavy products into their vehicles with a professional and helpful attitude.
Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and help them find products or navigate the store as needed.
Store Cleanliness: Keep entrances and cart storage zones free from clutter and debris to maintain a safe shopping environment.
Stock Support: Help restock shelves and maintain product displays to support overall store operations when necessary.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of six months’ experience in customer service, retail, or similar roles.
Comfortable using handheld devices and other store technology.
Physically able to lift 25 lbs. independently and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, warehouse, or physically demanding jobs.
Knowledge of cart handling, customer assistance, or merchandising.
Understanding of basic material handling procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
This role may be full-time (generally 39–40 hours per week) or part-time (up to 25 hours per week) based on the needs of the store. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends is required. Eligible employees enjoy benefits such as:
